We have been going to Thai Restaurant at 1709 Babcock Road, San Antonio, Tx 78229 for over 20 years. The food at this restaurant is excellent and authentic- always fresh and you always get what you ordered - served with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude. The time they were closed for renovation - we tried to see if other restaurants were even close to the Thai food we were use to and NO ONE even came close to it. WE definitely give a 5 star and then some!!! The place is always clean and the staff is so friendly- always happy to see you and ready to serve you.

I have never eaten Thai food before so my friend told me that he was going to get me cultured. Since that day I look forward to going back and eating because that food was great I have actually eaten at other Thai restaurants but it does not compare to this restaurant.

Great flavors await you here at the Thai Restaurant. I had the light battered red Snapper with vegetables...light on the heat...delicious thai dish...perfect melding of thai flavors. Ask for the sauce tray that comes with varied sauces to complement your dishes. Friendly owner along with the wife Chef. Definitely will visit again. BTW...thai Tea...really good!

As the official last customer of the decade, I am compelled to write about my great experience at this place. That night, first up was an order of summer rolls. They did not disappoint! 3 huge rolls cut in half was a meal in itself, so much so that I had to take half of the order home... packed with ingredients so crispy fresh, biting into them you'd think someone cracked your momma's back. The thick dark peanut sauce complimented the sweet sauce. I judge all Thai restaurants on the traditional Pad Thai dish. If they can't get this right, get outta here! I had the shrimp and added chicken. The sweetness was perfect, not overly sweet (like how most places ruin this dish) and the spices were good.

They are back!!!! And I am so excited! We went for our first visit after their reopening and they are the same or even better than before! One of my regular lunch spots is back and I am ready to eat! The new paint and furniture looks great! Great service, food was quick to the table, hot and tasty! The chicken pad Thai was delicious and my co worker loved her pad Thai woonsen. Definitely a great local spot for lunch, especially if you work in the medical center.

Very good Thai, and friendly service. This place was closed; they renovated and reopened just a couple months ago.the dining room is bright and very clean. I had the Panang curry with chicken, only spice level 5 (1-10). Glad I did, 5 is a nice spicy level. They also have good condiments like prik nam pla, a fish sauce with chilies. Half the places I've been either don't have or offer it, or they only make it from fish sauce and chilies. This place takes effort and makes their version with added citrus (or something similar). Nice touch. Lunch comes with a soup, today it was hot & sour. They even asked if I wanted more which I thought was a nice touch. I'm looking forward to trying their pad woon sen. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
